WGC partners with leading suppliers to ensure we reduce, reuse and recycle wherever possible. Through our partnerships with organisations such as Ecologi, we aim plant over 50,000 trees by the end of 2024! We're already at 32219!
Preventing 389 tonnes CO2e from being emitted in 2023
Where we are unable to completely reduce our emissions, we have supported the prevention of 389.65 tCO2e from being emitted through 48 verified carbon avoidance projects. From Wind power projects in Mexico, distributing cleaner cookstoves in Kenya and introducing the first ever wind power project in Honduras.
Throughout 2024, we will continue to reduce our impact and invest in projects around the world, including habitat restoration.
